About Raaja

Raaja is successful entrepreneur with a business mind and a passion for the arts, design and community. This dichotomy has served him well.

After graduating from Northwestern University and a stint in finance and private equity, he went backpacking around the world. While traveling in Argentina, Raaja met Aaron Firestein, who would later become his co-founder at Bucketfeet, a community-based fashion platform selling shoes custom designed by artists from all over the world.

Bucketfeet grew to over 40,000 artists across 120 countries before it was acquired by Threadless in 2017.

No stranger to new experiences, Raaja then moved his young family to LA, where he co-founded MarketerHire, which pairs the world’s top remote marketing talent with clients like Netflix and Allbirds. MarketerHire has raised two rounds of capital and, in the remote work and gig economy age, continues to crush it.
